Hello! My name is Nathalie Magno and I love to eat delicious! Since I was very little I found a great passion for food and nutrition. This led me to study Nutrition and Dietetics at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. There is nothing that fills me more than to teach people how to carry a healthy lifestyle with my recommendations.
When I graduated from Nutrition and Dietetics I did internships at several hospitals in South Florida. In these internships I had the opportunity to work in several branches. I worked with newborns in intensive care, cancer patients, patients with severe digestive problems, pregnant women with bulimia and anorexia, among other things. This tremendous experience helped me find my true passion, which is the preventive part of nutrition. In other words, I want to tackle these problems at the root. Teaching patients how to eat when they were already in the hospital, was no longer enough. I realized that the severe problem of diseases and obesity in the world is caused by much more than just nutrition. Spirituality, lack of exercise, knowing how to cook, relationships, sleep and much more, go together with diet.
This long journey lead me to take-on my most recent goal: to be a health coach. A couple of months ago I started a course at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. This certificate will give me even more tools to teach my patients how to have a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and at the same time not boring because nobody wants to eat boring forever.
I started this blog to share with everyone the importance of balance, and how easy it is to prepare delicious, fun, quick and healthy meals without having to forgo many of the delicious and nutricious foods in the world.
My goal as a Nutritionist and Health Coach is to help you find the nutrition plan and lifestyle that nourishes your body in a healthy manner and helps you become the best version of yourself.
I want to teach you that being healthy is not about following a strict diet that you will want to break every day, because a perfect and universal diet does not exist, but about following a lifestyle that will bring you pleasure in your life.
