I am a faithful believer that there is no perfect way of eating, we all have different nutritional needs, however, we all should eat a balanced diet with real nutritious food, exercise daily, and have a good night sleep. The “perfect diet” is different for every one of us.
A balanced diet is one that is not about deprivation. It’s about moderation, portion control, and enjoying delicious non-processed foods coming from the earth. Food should come from the earth, not from a lab.
It’s not really a “diet” but a lifestyle choice. Health is a lifestyle. When you see it as a lifestyle choice and enjoy the foods you eat, you stop seeing it as a hard and boring diet that you can’t wait to break on the weekends. It should be healthy and not boring. Healthy eating doesn’t mean dieting, it means to be balanced and to find the point in which your body can become its’ best self.
My balanced plate includes food products that are whole, natural, nutritive, and unprocessed that make my intake the right amount of protein, healthy fats, and quality carbs for my body.
It is up to you and listening to your body’s reactions and needs to know which balanced foods you will thrive on.
My goal as a nutritionist and health coach is to help you find the nutritional plan and lifestyle that nourishes your body and helps you become the best version of yourself.
